Ms. Becka, Piano Teacher

I love playing piano and teaching piano to students of all ages. I was immersed in playing piano since a child (40 years ago!) and love sharing my passion.

I began my piano journey in England, trained under the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM), and have been thrilled to teach piano and music in Northern Virginia for 15 years since moving here.

In the past, I was teaching at well-known commercial music studios but later opened Piano Inspired in Fairfax with the mission to inspire everyone to enjoy piano in a low-pressure environment and to welcome students of all abilities and interests.

I look forward to welcoming you!

Ms. Olga, Piano Teacher

My career and life are dedicated to music and teaching piano. I was educated in piano and music in Russia since a young child and have a Masters and Honors Degrees in Piano Performance and Teaching.

I have been teaching piano, theory, and composition for over 35 years, with 24 years spent teaching at schools and private lessons in Northern Virginia. My students have proven results through formal testing, competitions and making careers in piano performance and teaching.

I focus on the individual needs of every student and identify the potential to nurture development by balancing fun and challenges. I care about creating a solid foundation for my students, and helping children develop a love for piano and music.

Mr. John, Piano Teacher

I have been fortunate to study with eminent academic piano teachers who are world renowned performers. I studied at the Levine School of Music in Washington DC with Dr. Anna Balakerskaia, and at Juilliard pre-college with Matti Raekallio, then at Texas Christian University with Jose Feghali, for my Artists Diploma.

I have a storied career performing with famous orchestras in the US and China, including the National Symphony Orchestra, Cleveland and Cincinnati Orchestras, and the China National Symphony Orchestra. I have performed at the most prestigious concert venues including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Kennedy Center, Severance Hall, Capella Concert Hall, China’s National Center for Performing Arts, and Shanghai Concert Hall.

I bring exceptional experience and skills with concert level piano performance for students who want to aspire to achieve formal qualifications or perform.

Ms. Mary, Voice Teacher

I am a professional Soprano soloist and ensemble member, appearing with major Washington-area organizations from early music to opera. I regularly perform at the largest venues, such as the Kennedy Center, Wolf Trap, Strathmore, Washington National Cathedral and Atlanta’s Symphony Hall.

My recording history includes Robert Shaw’s Grammy-winning choral recordings and Albany Records recording of Amy Beach’s Canticle Of The Sun. Ensemble work includes Wolf Trap Opera, Washington Concert Opera, Maryland Lyric Opera, and Opera Bel Cantanti. Also, I am a section leader and soloist for Choralis and soprano soloist in the American premiere of Cecilia MacDowall’s Every Day Wonders: The Girl from Aleppo, as well as First Fairy in New York City Ballet’s performance of Mendelsohn’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the Kennedy Center Concert Hall.

I co-create a positive learning experience for creative individuals who are passionate about singing. I build skills and confidence in a safe and nurturing environment as you work toward your musical goals.

Ms. Emma, Piano and Woodwind Teacher

I am a musician and educator from Northern Virginia, who has been teaching since age sixteen. I enjoy teaching and learning from all of my students, who range from three to eighty years old. My work is described as “engaging,” and lessons are filled with energy and enthusiasm. I care deeply about my students and looks for ways to engage all learners.

Outside of the classroom, I perform professionally in the DC area with esteemed musicians through countless local venues, including Strathmore and Blues Alley. I have been recognized as an outstanding soloist and toured overseas as a collegiate faculty member.

I continue to pursue my education in and outside of my specialties and draw from my experience as a musician and lifelong learner to create a personalized experience for each individual student. I strives to cultivate a love of learning and music in my students and to equip them with the tools necessary to explore their interests. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Music Education with a minor in Jazz Studies from George Mason University.

Ms. Campbell, Voice and Piano Teacher

I am an experienced and versatile teacher of voice and piano. I have a Master of Music in Voice and Contemporary Commercial Music and a Bachelor of Music in Music Education. I was awarded the Bucknell University Prize in Music and graduated summa cum laude.

My performances include musicals, operas, and pop-style concerts, and toured nationally and internationally with premier choirs. Attending the Boston Conservatory Opera Intensive in Valencia provided further in-depth experience.

I specialize in voice for all levels and piano for beginner to intermediate with personalized instruction for each student. With an emphasis on ear-training, music reading, and diverse genre exploration, I provide students with the tools to reach their goals, and become multifaceted and confident musicians.

Ms. Jessica, Voice and Piano Teacher

I am a versatile and dedicated voice and piano instructor with a rich background in performance. My academic credentials include a Master of Music in Contemporary Commercial Voice Pedagogy and a Bachelor of Music in Musical Theatre. I have been honored as a member of the Pi Kappa Lambda and Phi Theta Kappa honor societies and graduated summa cum laude.

Throughout my career I have performed in a wide array of concerts and honor choirs, as well as professional and community theatre productions. Some notable roles include Ethel McCormack in Footloose and Ruth in The Pirates of Penzance, and currently serving as the Soprano Chorister at Leesburg United Methodist Church.

I am an experienced teacher of both voice and piano lessons, working for nearly 5 years with a diverse range of students across skill levels. Ensuring an environment where students feel free to express themselves, and supporting learning in music theory, sight reading, ear training, and performance strategies. I help students build confidence and refine their skills in technical proficiency and artistic expression.
